CLS is produced from kiln dried spruce (whitewood), planed and finished with eased edges to precise tolerances and in accordance with British Standards to either C16 or C24 grade. The CLS materials we stock are imported from a range of countries. The product originated for the Canadian market, which gave it its name - "Canadian Lumber Standard". It is now mainly produced and imported from both Canada and Europe. We supply CLS to our nationwide customer base of timber frame manufacturers and builder/timber merchants. Preservative treatment facilities are available for timber supplied. CLS is available to be sold under PEFC chain of custody.

Carcassing

Carcassing is produced from spruce (whitewood) logs, is generally C16/C24 strength graded and is sold in accordance with BS 4978.

Our product range consists of Kiln Dried Carcassing, Regularised Carcassing and Unseasoned Carcassing. We offer a nationwide pick-a-pack service to merchants & importers, with treatment options available.

Truss Material

Roof truss material has been a cornerstone product of the company for a number of years.

The TR26 and C16 Strength graded material we hold is sold in accordance with BS EN 519, and is kiln dried, planed all round and packaged to length.

Truss stocks are generally available in lengths from 1.8m to  6.0m from our stock holdings, with treatment options available.

Redwood

Redwood is not a product we hold as a stock item, but we are able to source specifications to meet specific customer requirements.

Redwood is generally available from 3.0m to 5.4m with most requests being for 4.2m & longer.

Battens

We supply battens nationwide to merchants, importers, and roofing companies. We hold stock of treated Type A battens stamped in accordance to BS 5534 in Hull.

Pack lengths are generally 3.0m to 6.0m and are bundled in 10's.

Glulam

Glulam is produced by gluing laminates of timber together under pressure and heat. With the raw material being precisely planed the resulting product is not only strong and stable but also aesthetically pleasing, therefore giving it significant advantages over other structural materials.
